This 8-hour code class can be used by all grades of electrical license holders to fulfill 8 hours of the state continuing education requirement. This class covers state rules and statutes, and NEC Articles 90 through 399. Students will learn about motors, grounding, transformers, lights, services, outlets and more. Questions are encouraged. Students will be a mix of master electricians, journeyman electricians, maintenance electricians, power limited technicians and registered unlicensed.
Bring to Class:
It is suggested that students bring the current edition of the NEC Code book and "Understanding the National Electrical Code" Part 2 by Mike Holt, available at www.MikeHolt.com or 888-632-2633. Instructor will supply handouts that encourage students to take notes during the class.
